Our little girl has become quite entertaining as she starts to branch out to do things all on her own. Feeding herself, communicating her likes (and dis-likes), driving herself to daycare… ok- I’m just teasing about that last one, but you get the idea. It was Saturday morning and I was craving that glorious nectar of the gods known as Starbucks. Since our hotel was directly next door, Eden and I walked over to get Mommy’s Latte and a scone to share while Daddy finished getting ready to go out to breakfast. While paying at the register, I attempted to juggle Eden on one hip, my purse on the opposite shoulder and access my wallet with my free hand. The young lady handed me the scone bag in the midst of the action and so I handed it to Eden and said “Please hold this for Mommy.” I swiped my card, tossed it into my purse, and turned around to see this…..
not only was she actively eating the scone, but she didn’t even give me a bite. I said to her “ Hey- what are you doing?” and she just giggled and took another bite- which is when I snapped this photo on my cell.
She also has learned that the phone is a very important device and often reaches out to try to touch someone…
Finally, another fun thing she has been doing lately is cleaning up her toys. Every parent’s dream right? The funny part is where she decides to put things…. I mean, she has a Toy Box and we practice putting her Toys there. But, Eden has decided that her little Princess table can be flipped over and she can store her belongings in the base. This particular evening, she picked up all her toys along with a few other items that were in the living room with us. It was spotless!
