The holidays just seemed to fly by this year….. what am I saying?!? This YEAR seemed to fly by and I can’t believe how fast our baby has become a little girl (sad face). Since I have been too busy being a full time Mommy (I was off for 3 whole fabulous weeks this year), I figured I better catch you all up on the Holiday festivities.
Let’s see… Christmas was hectic as I mentioned in the last post. Eden was sick and crabby through Christmas Day. She opened her presents, but wasn’t able to enjoy it as much as I hoped. Among her favorite toy gifts: her very own V-tech laptop from Mommy and Daddy, a Disney Princess Baby Snow White and stacking “Tangled” table and chair set from Grandma Irene and Uncle Adam, her very own guest house at Grandma Linda and Papa’s house, and her own car from Santa.
Daddy also surprised us all with a truly special gift- Disneyland passes for Mommy & Daddy (Eden is one of the only things at the Happiest Place on Earth that is still FREE) and he included Tickets for Papa and both Grandmas to go along. It was such a thoughtful gift and he was able to keep it a surprise (which is pretty good if you who know what a detective I can be)!
The Monday after Christmas we went to California Adventure:
We had a pretty low key New Year’s with some dear friends and then Mommy and Eden rang in the New Year with haircuts!!!
As our Holiday Break was about to end, we decided to take one last Sunday outing to…… Disneyland!
This time together was such a blessing and we are looking forward to many more trips together!
