Picture of Peace

March 13, 2010 our family embarked on a new step in our familyhood. We had our first EVER Family Portrait. Maybe it's because we were busy duking it out with the cancer/aftermath, or maybe it's just the usual excuses people make- but the only professional photos we had ever taken together were on our wedding day. 5 1/2 years later, the addition of our little Eden gave us the perfect opportunity to enlist the assistance of our dear family friend (and talented photographer) Brad Peters. Above is a preview of the pics. David can tell you that I absolutely hate every photo I've ever taken (exit self-esteem), so I was waiting to see how goofy I would look in the photos. Pleasantly, Brad's talented eye and apparently magical camera lens have produced the first picture that I actually love! It's even more loved because I have to two most precious people in it with me. After all the stuggles, we are finally at peace and we are finally a family- with the photos to prove it! "The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace."
